Can not decide between Blue Ray and Playstation 3?
The Blue Ray player I want is $ 300, but I get the PS3 for $ 100 more. PS3 would be a better choice if you ask me. The main advantage with PS3 is that Sony is in the updated Blu-Ray features. Not only that, but they also keep on updating the various DVD-related features as well. For example, DVD climber was not present, but Sony has introduced an upgrade. The other advantage of a PS3 has is the fact that it has a decent hard drive (80 GB model and 160 GB). I do not know about you, but I have lots of DivX (. Avi) movies … I have transferred to my PS3 hard drive. The scaler does a decent job and the pictures look impressive. Furthermore, there is a feature of sharing media on the PS3 and where you can watch a video running on your PC directly to the PS3 and watch movies that LCD or Plasma TV (or what you yourself) .. and the main advantage … It's a game console …. trust me, is fun to play … try. You might even have children will love. But so far I feel PS3 is the best Blu-Ray because it has all the features of any high-end Blu-ray (such as HDMI 1.3, 7.1 Channel Audio O / P, 1080P support …). Trust me, it's worth the extra $ 100 … and it looks much better than the Samsung thingy. There are rumors that PS3 also is receiving support from Netflix this E3 (June) … So too might be added in an update. Also, PS3 has wireless built (you can buy one for the player to Samsung for 85 $! That will be almost the price of a PS3 !!!). Thus, in all departments, PS3 wins.
