According to Dev-gru, who is a Zipper rep, the next patch will end quick sniping.

Heres a partial list he gave on the PS forums

"Yeah, I'm going through them now. The db though hasn't been reconciled with all of the fixes yet. Plus there are issues from the Map Pack 2 testing. Anyway...here are some which appear to have been fixed

Already mentioned the quick sniping
The yellow lines that appear onscreen
the 'floating' or 'zooming' headset icon
some of the armory imagery for particular weapons
some of the reported exploits within SVO.

When it comes to reported exploits I'm not going to be specific as to what's been addressed. There's a whole slew of other items that have been address as well, and issues are still being worked on."

It's about time... quick sniping is not realistic... but I do realize we have had to use it to win against other quick snipers! I have never quick sniped or wanted to so I'm glad Zipper is finally removing this aspect to the game!

My two top fixes for this game would be CODE9 and THE MICS.. And I doubt there gunna fix qsnipin, I dont think they can fit that into the patch..
