It looks too busy with the text. If you want I can take the button and lower the opacity on it and copy a bunch of times to make a wallpaper background.

Ya it is the problem is I think Direct Effect going from botton to top once on the left and once on the right from top to bottom would look good but I cant get the right dimensions of the side space. Ahh maybe Ill just change it back.....

Audio I added the Dr. avatar in the main menu. You like it? I made the New Folders brighter (brightness, contrast). IDK why the outer edges are fuzzy??

I definately like that the new posts are brighter, it was kind of hard to see on different monitors at work. I like the avatar buttons too. When you made those to use for the forum did you take the larger avatar I posted and shrink it down or did you take the smaller one and made it larger. If you took the smaller one and made it larger that could be why the edges are fuzzy. Whenever you take something small and blow it up, it loses quality. I can try to make one the size that you used and you can swap it out.
