| Was fucking around with Adobe Photoshop 3.0 today and made my first sigs ever. I'm new to this so take it easy on me. Made them for my fishing message boards.

| Good start. Your best bet is to keep it simple at first like you're doing, then mess around with the filters, and the blending options when you right click on the individual layers, of course I'm not sure what 3.0 has to offer, I am only familiar with 7. I'd say to look at tutorials but can't offer where to find them, I've only used one once and whoever made it, made it really confusing, Penguin might know where to find them.

| Yea, i've never used any tutorials either, the only site i've ever used was http://www.thedesignworld.com/photoshop-tutorials/ which i used to make mirror text in this: 
and that sites probably useless considering most of it is made for cs
