home theater installation training

Here in the Pacific Northwest, where many people burn wood for heat is much fear and insecurity fireplaces and wooden devices. I like to believe that almost anyone could guess that a chimney and wood stove or fireplace that will eventually require cleaning, maintenance and service. This advice applies to factories and various metal chimneys.

I want to believe that people can figure this out, but obviously not the situation. Recently I witnessed a masonry chimney neglected. The black, oozing creosote inch thick and covered in clear top-down to the landlady, and inefficient, wood stove below. The ignition system, but nothing is waste products from the chimney. Creosote is flammable, so it is important for cleaning and maintenance of a fireplace.

It seems that most of People with wood stoves, chimneys and pellet stoves, do not pay enough attention to them. Many people worsen the situation by burning green wood is not experienced. The average consumer can take these basic systems of course, but they are dangerous to life, limb and property, if they are neglected. As a home inspector who does not work in wood fireplaces or appliances, but believes that many of them know it's important to have these devices cleaned and serviced by a specialist regularly. In fact, the National Fire Protection Association has stated that a chimney inspection of Level 2 should be part of every sale or transfer property. The scope of this inspection is intrusive beyond any inspection by a home inspector, and is performed by a professional chimney trained and authorized.
