samsung blu-ray player netflix

Is it worth buying a Blu Ray?
I have a Samsung 720p TV I just bought. Conan on NBC looks amazing through the coaxial. My question is will the Blu Ray movies are better than the Netflix HD streaming through my XBOX
may have a slightly different light, not worth buying just for the quality of small improvements. i wouldnt sweat on it. HD is amazing anway
