Help me with HDMI cables?
Hi just bought a Samsung 55-inch LCD LED HDTV TV 1080p 240Hz … It has four spots HDMI cables … I'm not really sure what these are? I think Blue Ray, Direct TV box, and nothing more? Also, I noticed the line or below $ 10 and in stores are over $ 100! I do not want to spend more than what I have to … How do I know which type to buy HDMI cables? Help! Are there different types? They said they probably should be 8 feet, but there are different types of cables? My husband is at stake and wants to be able to connect your computer … but I'm trying to help him out:)
I agree with all the answers already in front. Cheap HDMI cables are as good as more expensive, do not listen to the marketing and sale of all people trying to say otherwise. As for what to use the HDMI ports for – I have 4 as well and hook up my Xbox 360, digital cable box HD and PC, all connected to my TV via HDMI. The only thing I'm considering adding PS3 or stand-alone Blu Ray Player. I know some people who have multiple Independent DVRs and DVD player connected via HDMI too. Who knows what cool high-tech will come out with next year? More is better!
