Welcome to the world of colored laptops!
Colored laptops as you may already be aware have taken over the mobile computer market by storm. Big name laptop manufacturers including Dell, Sony, and HP have all jumped on the colored bandwagon faster than ever and others are following as well.
I personally anticipate that most laptops in the near future will be offered in different colors for the personalization of tech products today is already a way of life for many. iPods, digital cameras, and now even laptops are among favorites.
In fact personalization is often the determining factor for many of our purchases. After all we are all unique and thus have different tastes, so there’s no denying that many of us will continue to love personalizing our tech gadgets to express who we are to the world throughout our lives.
Just imagine if every iPod came in pink? I’d be willing to bet that most men would either run straight to a competitor’s product or at the bare minimum tuck it away in their pocket out sight and out of mind.
Putting that thought aside, in my opinion there’s honestly no better way right now to make a bonafide fashion statement with your peers or even with strangers than sporting a fashionable colored laptop in that special color of choice. If we can pick an iPod in our favorite color why not laptops too, right?
And let me tell you, I am simply ecstatic that laptop manufacturers are offering colored laptops these days. What can I say! I am all for personalizing my tech gear.
In fact, two of my personal favorite laptop manufacturers Sony and Dell currently have embraced this colored laptop frenzy in full force. So let’s take a closer look at the popular Dell Inspiron and Sony VAIO laptop series, shall we?
Dell Colored Laptops
Currently Dell’s popular Inspiron colored laptops can be picked up in some pretty cool colors including Jet Black, Alpine White, Espresso Brown, Ruby Red, Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Sunshine Yellow among others.
Dell Inspiron colored laptops in my opinion can best be described as bold in color but non-glossy. Because they are non-glossy Inspiron laptops are for the most part fingerprint resistant and it helps to keep the laptop looking clean during your daily computing adventures.
While a glossy finish would add what some individuals might possibly call a bling bling appearance, the non-glossy finish actually fits the Dell Inspiron’s overall look and feel.
I think women will especially like the Inspiron Flamingo Pink color option because it really stands out and will definitely make a fashion statement.
Dell’s more expensive XPS line can also be purchased in various colors. As of this writing you can configure Dell XPS systems in a Tuxedo Black, Alpine White, Midnight Blue and Flamingo Pink color.
Higher-end XPS gaming systems even include color choice such as Sapphire Blue, Smoke Grey, Crimson Red, and what they call Bone White. Man that’s a lot of colors!
Sony Colored Laptops
In my opinion Sony’s current crop of colored laptops from the more expensive VAIO TZ Series to the cheaper mainstream VAIO CR Series have some of the best paint finishes that I’ve personally seen offered by a mainstream laptop manufacturer.
Paint quality is ultra-clean and the color palette Sony chose is top notch. I guarantee most of you will be impressed with one of Sony’s quality paint finishes just as I was when I first locked eyes on one.
Sony’s super popular ultra portable VAIO TZ Series laptops as of now can be configured in Black, Rose Pink, Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, and a Carbon Fiber Black finish.
Girls you are going to love the Rose Pink trust me, and the limited Bordeaux Red will also impress many of you.
For you guys I think you will love the Carbon Fiber Black for it really adds to the TZ’s sleek look. It is in fact one of my personal favorites.
Sony’s cheaper mainstream VAIO CR Series also has some super cool color options to choose from. Price wise for a quality colored laptop the VAIO CR Series is also very competitive to boot. Very sweet!
As of this writing you can pick one up in Indigo Blue, Sangria Red, Cosmopolitan Pink, Champagne Gold, Dove White, and Crocodile Brown which is another personal favorite of mine. It actually boasts a crocodilian skinned brown textured look that is really eye catching.
