Turntable and stereo question?
My cheap dish just died, so I'm looking for a new one. I want to get the best sound quality to a reasonable price. (I have no money to spend rate audiophile, I'm hoping to get a nice plate used for less than $ 300). What should I look? It is the cartridge more important? Besides, I live in a small one bedroom apt. I have a new Sony 5.1 surround receiver for all audio components of my home but I do not know if this is the best option for my record player. Are there ways to adjust the sound that is best for my stereo vinyl (possibly replacing the speakers front with the most pleasant)? Or should I spring for a vacuum tube amplifier speakers separately and more end? Thank you!
good question. it depends on your taste listning. a good entry level table for U would be the NAD 533, which is the same table with the Rega P1. besides which there are many improvements to the tables. and yes a cartridge is very important to your Sony receiver i recommend DYNAVECTER 10X 5, which costs about $ 380.00 so the table can that $ 350.00
