Onkyo Surround Sound Speaker Problems?

I have a problem with my onkyo surround sound speakers is not playing very loudly. I have an onkyo HT-R510 receiver and Onkyo use the standard speakers that came with the HTiB. I can use my sony tower speakers left and right channels. I have the volume and information distance for all my speakers set to my receiver. The use of rear speakers about 25 feet of 16gauge speaker wire, but still seem quite soft. Any suggestions on how to make more effective my rear speakers? Trying to weigh up the speakers until all sound the same or play on the same level of loudness. Or just increase the level of your rear or surround speakers.

Soul With a Capital S: Best of Tower of Power

$4.81

Although they scored in the mid-’70s with hits like the sublime “So Very Hard to Go” and the cynical funk-monster classic “What Is Hip?,” Oakland, California’s Tower of Power always seemed to find more respect among their musician peers than the public at large. Indeed, they spent the ’80s without a record label. This collection helps fill a glaring gap in the band’s history and should go a long w…

Cinderella is a cowgirl in Sylvester, a hard-luck story with a happy ending if there ever was one. Melissa Gilbert is the tough-talking teenage orphan cowpoke whose natural talent and determination transform her into a prize-winning equestrian. Soapy subplots abound: She has a drunken reluctant mentor (Richard Farnsworth, in a fine turn), fights the court to raise her two younger brothers in…

The Last House on the Left (Unrated Collectors Edition)

Future Nightmare creator and Scream weaver Wes Craven’s film debut is a primitive little production that rises above its cut-rate production values and hazy, grainy patina via its grimly affecting portrait of human evil infiltrating a middle-class household. The story is adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s The Virgin Spring, but the film has more in common with Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs as it char…
