Will Sony still accept my poor Playstation Portable 2000 and repaired?

Well my PSP 2000 on, but do not show anything custom and of course that means the LCD is broken. I had opened the PSP which means that he took the package and pulled battary the label. Will I still be able to send Sony for them to get repaired. How much would the cost be? Do I really need Lastley weight? Because I lost: (

You need the warranty card at least. But what has been said so far, are better off with a new PSP-3000. It will definitely be cheaper than getting it repaired, I'm sure will cost a bomb to fix all these problems.
